Custom Tire has been rooted in Springfield since 1935. Started by my grandfather, Howard House as a repair and retreading business and later, post WWII, joined by my father Jack House, it began the transformation to retail new tire and associated sevices(alignment and brakes) in the 60's. Dad had the vision to recognize the future of tires, becoming a Michelin Pioneer Member, one of the original, and by the mid 70's, steel radials were in and passenger tire retreading was out.
We have strived through all those years to provide an unequaled experience. Customers are used to getting in and out in short order with professionalism and courtesy. .......integrity has been our most valued possession.

​Springfield born and raised, i graduated from Shawnee H.S. and later Miami University. i returned to Springfield to marry, raise a family, and to become Custom Tire third generation. ........and that's been many customer's/friends ago. ....pretty lucky!!!

nearly all major name brands, many in stock. ....and should we need to order, we normally have by 9:30 a.m. next day. ...we even have select, inspected used tires!
